Play- Each participant must submit 5 picks per
week by the deadline.
1) Failure to do so will result in participant receiving
an 0-5 record for that week.
2) No player can choose the same picks as the "Blind
Monkey.
3) Picks can be called in or e-mailed.
4) No one can change, alter, or switch picks once they've
been made.
Point Spread- All picks will be made using the
point spread provided in the Philadelphia Daily News:
1) for Thursday games the Wednesday Newspaper Point
Spread prior to game will be used.
2) for Sat./Sun./Mon. games, the Friday Newspaper Point
Spread prior to games will be used.
Deadlines- All picks must be in by deadline or
they will not count. NO EXCEPTIONS !
1) Deadline for Thursday games: Wednesday 8 pm.
2) Deadline for Saturday games: Friday 8 pm.
3) Deadline for Sunday games: Saturday 8 pm.
Money Pick - Each week, each participant will
choose a "Money pick." One of his/her picks
will be designated as his/her lock of the week. This game
will be his/her "Money Pick." That game is
worth more than the usual points.
5-0 Jackpot- Each week $5 will be set aside for
the "5-0 Jackpot." If a participant(s) goes 5-0
on any given week, he/she is rewarded with a cash prize
of $5. If no one wins then the pot increases to $10. The
pot will increase every week by $5 incremints as long as
no one goes 5-0. If a participant(s) does go 5-0, they
are rewarded the pot and it then goes back down to $5. If
two or more participants wins the jackpot, they will
split the money.
Scoring- A scoring system similar to that of the
NHL will be in place.
Money Pick Win ....4 points
Normal Win ...........2 points
Money Pick Tie ......2 points
Normal Tie .... ....... 1 point
